200227-N-QR336-2401 NARRA, Palawan (Feb. 27, 2020) Builder Constructionman Brandon Williams, from Blue Point, New York, with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Palawan, pulls nails out of the ceiling grid in one of the three schoolhouses Magsaysay Elementary School. The project is a joint effort between U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 and service members from the Armed Forces of Philippines. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
