Lt. Col. Philip Mundweil, commander, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division conducts an after action review after Soldiers of Alpha “Apache” Company, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment and 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion conduct their Platoon live-fire exercise on March 02, 2020 in preparation for the Cobra Gold 20 Combined Arms Live-Fire Exercise as part of Task Force Raider in Bahn Dan Lan Hoi, Thailand. Their LFX lane consisted of a 500m movement, a wired obstacle that engineers had to breach, a bunker clearance, and a hasty defense for an enemy counterattack. Exercise Cobra Gold 20 is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
