Soldiers of Alpha “Apache” Company, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment and 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion conducts their Platoon live-fire exercise on March 02, 2020 in preparation for the Cobra Gold 20 Combined Arms Live-Fire Exercise as part of Task Force Raider in Bahn Dan Lan Hoi, Thailand. Their LFX lane consisted of a 500m movement, a wired obstacle that engineers had to breach, a bunker clearance, and a hasty defense for an enemy counterattack. Exercise Cobra Gold 20 is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
