PHILIPPINE SEA (Mar. 3, 2020) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Tate Vincent from Tupelo, Miss., guides a shipment of pallets onto the Arleigh-Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) for a replenishment-at-sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197) during the U.S.-Japan Bilateral Advanced Warfighting Training exercise. BAWT improves interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. This exercise enhances the ability of the U.S. Navy and JMSDF to work together to confronany contingency.
