KINGS BAY, Ga. (Feb. 25, 2020) Vice Adm. Caudle, Commander, U.S. Submarine Forces, tours the dry dock on board Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga. The dry dock is the largest covered dry dock in the United States and allows for critical submarine maintenance to be done locally at the base. "Team Kings Bay is the cornerstone of strategic deterrence on the East Coast," said Caudle. "The women and men here work every day to keep our submarines and Sailors on station, delivering combat ready and lethal forces around the world. These warfighters, uniformed and civilian, are true professionals and dedicated to their critical mission." The base is home to all East Coast Ohio-Class submarines.
