U.S. Army medical staff treat U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Lout Lewis assigned to the 514th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, for simulated injuries after a downed aircraft scenario while participating in Warrior Exercise 91 12-01 and Exercise GLOBAL MEDIC 2012 at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., June 22, 2012. WAREX gives participating units an opportunity to rehearse military maneuvers and tactics such as security, convoy operations and quick reaction drills during simulated enemy attacks. GLOBAL MEDIC is a joint field training exercise for theater aeromedical evacuation systems and ground medical components designed to replicate all aspects of combat medical service support.
