200213-N-CD254-1820 DILI, Timor-Leste (Feb. 13, 2020) Builder 3rd Class Jahrual Lloyd, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Timor-Leste, makes adjustments to the concrete masonry unit block height to ensure it is level for the three-room schoolhouse project. U.S. Navy Seabees are constructing a school and STEM Laboratory in support of Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
