Kenneth Mershon, 27 SOSS, Master Sgt. Robert Jansen, 27 SOSS Radar Approach Control chief controller and Master Sgt. Jeffry Quimby, 27 SOSS, cut the ribbon in the newly built Radar Approach Control facility at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., May 7, 2012. The RAPCON provides radar-based air traffic service to both military and civilians aircraft within approximately 60 nautical miles of Cannon Air Force Base.
