A soldier from the Forces Armées Tchadiennes is screened by an Armée Nationale Mauritanienne medical officer for Coronavirus upon arrival in Kaedi, Mauritania, February 17, 2020. Screening was done for all participants of the exercise as a preventive measure to mitigate the contraction of the virus. Flintlock is an annual, integrated military and law enforcement exercise that has strengthened key partner-nation forces throughout North and West Africa since 2005.
