Recruits run in place to warm up while they wait to begin a pugil stick bout June 5 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. This is the third pugil sticks Company H has had the chance of doing since arriving on the depot. Each pugil sticks session is different and done in various environments ensuring recruits are ready for close-combat situations if ever deployed.
