    Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School

    An international student with Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School, located at John C. Stennis Space Center, Miss., cuts a straight line on a piece of metal using oxyacetylene cutting techniques during a Technical Welding and Applied Repairs course, Feb. 11, 2020.

    TWAR is an eight-week course of instruction that provides personnel with the knowledge and skills to make structural repairs and perform preventative maintenance to aluminum, steel, fiberglass and rubber components.

    NAVSCIATTS trains and educates foreign Special Operations Forces, SOF-like forces and SOF enablers across the tactical, operational and strategic spectrums through in-residence and Mobile Training Team Courses of Instruction; and serves as USSOCOM's premier Security Force Assistance training asset.
