Wells adopted Velma from the Nebraska Humane Society and is training her with JAVELAN to qualify her as a service dog. As a member of Offutt’s Office of the Warrior Advocate, Wells is allowed to have her service dog to assist with her Invisible Wounds as she transitions out of the U.S. Air Force.
