POLARIS POINT, Guam (Feb. 7, 2020) Rear Admiral Blake Converse, commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, addresses the crew of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Feb. 7. Capt. Al Alarcon relieved Capt. Jeff Bierley as commanding officer of the ship during the event. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo Pacific region.
