200126-N-MD802-1250 BAB AL-MANDEB STRAIT (Jan. 26, 2020) An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to the “Proud Warriors” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 72, flies during a transit through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait with the Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group and the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
