200126-N-MD802-1138 RED SEA (Jan. 26, 2020) The Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group transits the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb alongside the guided missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce.
