U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Gary A. Chapin, 20th Security Forces Squadron combat arms instructor, compares magazines and socializes with Eric E. Kaziska, a civilian police officer of the 20th Security Forces Squadron police officer, at a pistol tournament at the the Sumter Police Department firing range May 18, 2012. The tournament was one of the events during Police Week and gave airmen and local police officers an opportunity to interact outside of work in a friendly competition together. Police Week is a week dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices police officers give to protect the public and make the communities safer.
