Army Sgt. John Lopez, U.S. Army Parachute Team black team, prepares his parachute and attaches the American flag to it before the U.S. Army Golden Knights performance at the Shaw Air Expo at Shaw Air Force Base May 6, 2012. Golden Knights skydive each morning of the air show to kick start the day. The first jumper carries the American flag and after he jumps the participates of the air show stand in respect as the national anthem is sung.
