Marine Cpl. Earl Shipley, a crew chief assigned to Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX-1), guides a CH-53E Super Stallion assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 366 during the squadron’s deployment for training exercise at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, Feb. 5, 2020. The purpose of the exercise is to increase HMH-366’s proficiency in cold weather and high altitude aviation operations and to improve overall combat readiness.
