Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class James Varner, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, assist's while a member of the Royal Malaysian Navy uses the "Pacbot" operation control unit during demolition materials, procedures and unexploded ordnance training during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Malaysia 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
