“I would stay in the Guard because it challenges me physically, mentally, and emotionally to push myself through situations that I may not encounter on the civilian side. But I also have the support of my unit to help me through it. I like that it is something that I wouldn’t find myself doing anywhere else, but I do it here every weekend.”
