A MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the Island Knights of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 lifts supplies from the fantail of the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6) before delivering them to the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) during a replenishment at sea. George Washington departed its homeport of Fleet Activities Yokosuka, May 26, to begin its 2012 patrol. George Washington and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interest of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
