200129-N-YM543-850 PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 29, 2020) - Amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and U.S. 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) maneuver in formation in the Philippine Sea. Blue Ridge is operating with the America Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit team in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
