Members of various commands and U.S. government agencies participate in the annual War-Gaming Fundamentals course held at the U.S. Naval War College (NWC) Jan. 15. The five-day course is held to teach the war-gaming skills that NWC uses to help decision-makers shape the future Navy. War-gaming is a time-honored role of the college, founded in 1884 as a place of teaching and research on naval issues.
