200115-N-MD802-1162 GULF OF OMAN (Jan. 15, 2020) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Jordan Grate, back, and Seaman Jiezhi Feng attach a wooden block to a pad eye during pre-checks for a replenishment-at-sea on the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). Farragut is part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
