Coby Croft, Associate Director for Nursing Services at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, discusses high reliability during the morning safety brief at the hospital. This daily brief is a focused conversation among leaders and staff about patient safety. Croft, a native of Lovell, Wyoming, says, “The safety brief is an integral part of fostering a culture of patient safety.
