200122-N-WR252-2046 SANTA RITA, Guam (Jan. 22, 2020) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Alexander Taschner, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, marks the center of the conveyor belt on the asphalt batch plant during set up preparations. The Seabees are performing rigorous training and testing on the equipment to ensure it meets all operational and environmental requirements. NMCB 5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
