USS FRANK CABLE, Guam (Jan 17, 2020) The Commanding Officer of USS Frank Cable, Captain Jeff Bierley, welcomes US Navy Surgeon General Rear Adm Bruce Gillingham to the ship for a tour of the medical spaces and a medical All Hands Call with sailors assigned to USS Frank Cable and USS Emory S. Land. Rear Adm Gillingham is visiting operational and readiness Navy medical units in the Pacific to talk about ensuring readiness by providing well trained people, working in cohesive teams on optimized platforms, demonstrating high velocity performance to project medical power in support of maritime superiority.
