96 year old retired Air Force Lt.Col. Robert Rohde (seated) poses for a photo op in front of a KC-135R Stratotanker with family and members of the 914th Air Refueling Wing at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y. on November 15, 2019. Rohde was granted his wish to sit in the cockpit of a military aircraft again through the Senior Wishes Program of the United Church Home Society. Rohde, a former member of the 107th Attack Wing and a C-47 pilot that flew over the China, India and Burma theatre during World War II met with military members and shared stories with today's Citizen Airmen.
