Underwood represented the U.S. Navy in support of Unitas Pacific and Southern Seas 2012. Unitas, Latin for "unity," is an annual USSOUTHCOM-sponsored, multinational naval exercise designed to enhance security cooperation and improve coalition operations between South American and U.S. maritime forces.
