Army Pfc. Harvey Nichols finally returned home from his World War II service Sept. 5, 2019, after more than 77 years. His remains were laid to rest Sept. 7, next to his mother and father in the family plot at Braxton Cemetery. The funeral services were the conclusion of a remarkable journey for the 27-year-old combat veteran and Bataan Death March survivor.
