Lt. Gen. Daniel Hokanson, Director of the Army National Guard, addresses members of C Company, 3rd Battalion, 116th Cavalry Regiment after a reenlistment ceremony where he swore-in three Soldiers at the Woodburn Armory in Woodburn, Ore., Jan. 12. The day before, Hokanson attended a mobilization ceremony for Soldiers with the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team who are deploying to Kosovo. Hokanson is the former commander of the brigade, and was also the Adjutant General, Oregon, after an aviation career in the Oregon National Guard.
