Lance Cpl. Christopher Lambert, a Marine Week Cleveland color guard sentry, walks his post as Sgt. Thomas Phillips, sergeant of the guard, prepares to leave the post at the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall at Voinovich Park in Cleveland, June 13. Marines and Cleveland police officers will guard the memorial until Marine Week Cleveland ends, June 17. More than 160 Cleveland police officers are Marine veterans and throughout Marine Week Cleveland, they are wearing a police badge that incorporates the Marine Corps eagle, globe and anchor signifying their Marine Corps service. More than 750 Marines are participating in Marine Week to commemorate the city's support for the military and celebrate community, country and Corps. Various displays showcase Marine Corps equipment, aircraft and technology and are available for viewing at Gateway Plaza and Public Square.
