SEA OF JAPAN (Jan. 5, 2020) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Daniel Langhorne, from Auburn, Wash., stands by as a safety officer aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) as the ship prepares to conduct a replenishment-at-sea with the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194). Milius is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
