U.K. Army Brigadier Leigh R. Tingey, Commander, Task Force-Southeast and Deputy Commanding General-Maneuver, 1st Armored Division, and Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher C. Goodart, Senior Enlisted Leader, Task Force-Southeast and 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, serve holiday meals to Soldiers at an outlying station in Southeastern Afghanistan, December 25, 2019. The tradition of senior leaders serving holiday meals to Soldiers is one that is especially important for morale of deployed Soldiers. 5-73 CAV is currently deployed along with Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 1st Armored Division in support of Operations Freedom's Sentinel and Resolute Support as they provide invaluable training, advising, and assisting efforts to Afghan counterparts in Southeastern Afghanistan.
