Naval Air Crewman 2nd Class Zach Carson, assigned to the Blackjacks of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21, relays instructions to a Hope Worldwide translator while teaching Indonesian medical team members how to perform a medical evacuation. The event was part of a Pacific Partnership 2012 disaster relief helicopter rescue demonstration. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission U.S military personnel, host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
