JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2019) – Lt. Cmdr. Chad Thoemke, a physician assistant at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Orthopedics Clinic, assess a sailor’s arm. Physician Assistants Week is Oct. 6 - 12. Thoemke, a native of San Antonio, Texas, says, “We work hard to ensure the best quality care, while also appreciating that all patients have different needs. Every patient we see is connected to the service in some way. They may be an active duty service member, their spouse or their child, or they may be a retired veteran, each of whom has served in some way.
