191212-A-HZ000-1342 ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 12, 2019) Sailors from the coastal patrol ship USS Squall (PC 7) transport civilians aboard a Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat to another ship after completing the Griffin Missile Exercise 19. U.S. 5th Fleet and coalition assets are participating in Maritime Security Exercises to ensure maritime stability and security in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
