Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, load their casualties into Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division's Black Hawk helicopter during the medical evacuation lane of "Raider" Brigade's Raider Strike May 22, 2012. The purpose of Raider Strike is to prepare soldiers for the National Training Center, and ties into decisive action training. This training features a hybrid threat reflective of the complexities of potential adversaries. Exercises in the training regimen included vehicle maneuvers, breaching, air and ground medical evacuation, and response to contact and chemical attacks. "These exercises have given us the opportunity to plan and maneuver our forces in a conflict of enemy forces."
