Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, conduct breaching maneuvers to breach barriers and mines in the ground during "Raider" Brigade's Raider Strike May 22, 2012. The purpose of Raider Strike is to prepare soldiers for the National Training Center and ties into decisive action training. This training features a hybrid threat reflective of the complexities of potential adversaries. Soldiers have trained to improve their performance since their return from deployment and have stayed proficient in their warrior tasks, contributing greatly to the raider mission, said Keeler. We continue to train and better ourselves, because there is always room for improvement, said 1st Lt. Joseph Izraelevitz, platoon leader assigned to Company C. When the brigade goes to the National Training Center, soldiers will be trained to the best of their abilities.
