NAVFAC EXWC partnered with the Regional Defense Partnership for the 21st Century (RDP-21) to host an industry day focusing on emerging technologies in cyber, control systems, and machine learning focus areas. Guest speakers for the event included Gene Fisher of RDP-21 and NAVFAC EXWC Commanding Officer Michael Saum. Topics of discussion included fixating on the significance of collaboration between the U.S. Navy and private companies. Navy engineers also discussed the strategic vision of the Navy’s future and the current and future technology improvements fabricated by the Department of Defense.
