A Peshmerga forces Advanced Instructor commands soldiers to continue engaging unseen enemies during their final training exercise at Bnaslawa Training Center in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Dec. 18, 2019. The final exercise is the culminating event meant to test skills the Peshmerga soldiers have learned over the course of training on subjects including squad movements, marksmanship, first aid, and counter improvised explosive devices techniques. The focus of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve remains on supporting the operations of the Government of Iraq and building their capacity in order to achieve the enduring defeat of Daesh.
