    Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Marines with 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, assume Mission Oriented Protective Posture 4 during a decontamination exercise on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 12, 2019. Decontamination is the first step in dealing with biological warfare. Though not a permanent solution, it prevents further spread of hazardous agents.
