Collin Green, commander, Naval Special Warfare Command poses for a photograph with Ms. Andrea Gastaldo, director of the Office of State-Defense Integration onboard Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Gastaldo visited Naval Special Warfare Command to promote and facilitate closer synchronization and coordination between the Department of State and Department of Defense. Naval Special Warfare Command is the maritime component of U.S. Special Operations Command, and its mission is to provide maritime special operations forces to conduct full-spectrum operations, unilaterally or with partners, to support national objectives.
