Mark Andres, 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade, Security Force Assistance Command, deputy commanding officer, rides in a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to watch the Peshmerga forces final training exercise at Sulaymaniyah Training Center in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Dec. 17, 2019. The final exercise was the culminating event that tested soldiers on the training they received over the course of seven weeks. Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve and our Iraqi Partners are developing sustainable and inclusive Iraqi military forces that can secure their sovereign borders, protect the population, and support a return to normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
