Female Peshmerga soldiers wait on line after clearing their objective during their final exercise, the culminating event that tests skills learned over seven weeks of training, at Sulaymaniyah Training Center in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Dec. 17, 2019. Forty five female Peshmerga soldiers participated in the final exercise and will go on to graduate to become medics, snipers, counter improvised explosive device specialists or infantry members.
