Soldiers reunited with family members at the National Guard armory on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Dec. 11, 2019, upon their return from deployment. Approximately 80 Alaska Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 297th Military Police Company were assigned to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in support of Operation Spartan Shield.
