JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Washington- U.S. Army Special Operations Soldiers with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) compete in an Army combatives tournament during Menton Week at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Dec. 10. Menton Week is an annual week-long remembrance of the deactivation of the First Special Service Force during World War II. The FSSF is considered a predecessor to modern U.S. Army Special Forces.
