PHILIPPINE SEA (Dec. 7, 2019) Sailors stand by as tension is applied to a span wire aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) as the ship conducts a replenishment-at-sea with the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4). Milius is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
