Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's Maritime Raid Force learn about the Battle of Iwo Jima atop Mount Suribachi near the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Central Field, Iwo To, Japan, Nov. 19, 2019. Marines from the 31st MEU traveled to the island on a professional military education trip and to pay respect to those fallen in battle.
