A simulated unexploded ordinance is on the flight line during Exercise Operation Varsity 19-04 at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Dec. 9, 2019. The scenario trained 786th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal flight to search for, identify, and neutralize UXOs. Exercise Operation Varsity 19- 4 evaluates, measures and reports the 86th Airlift Wing’s ability to react and respond to contingency in the most realistic environment possible.
